Painted plaster, a girl caught mid-afternoon with a hen held against her chest. Attributed to Bohumil Stehlik, a Prague sculptor trained under Celda Kloucek at UMPRUM and Josef Vaclav Myslbek at the Academy of Fine Arts. Sources disagree on his dates, 1884 to 1936 in some listings, 1885 to 1949 in others; we show you both rather than pick one. One piece, one new owner, then closed. ✦
