The Archive
One piece. One chance. Then it's gone.
The Archive is a curatorial institution built across four departments: antique objects, wearable history, published collector's editions, and reseller education. It finds objects, portraits and craftsmanship worth remembering, verifies their history, and places each one with exactly one new owner before closing that story forever.
The past is treated as material for the present, not as something to mourn or preserve behind glass. A hundred-year-old ceramic sculpture belongs on a shelf in a home today, doing real decorative work, not sitting behind a rope.
Each department runs under the same curatorial eye and the same documentation system. None of them is a side project of the others.
Every object here has a documented past and now enters exactly one new life. When it sells, the chance is gone: not restocked, not reprinted in a second run. The piece goes on. The opportunity to buy it doesn't. That is the actual mechanism of value, not a marketing device layered on top.
An archive number and a provenance line, date and place, sit on every listing. That is the detail a generic vintage shop never shows.
The Archive is a one-person curatorial practice, based in Prague, Czech Republic, and run by Tereza Kohutova. No warehouse, no team behind it yet. One eye deciding what enters the archive, and what doesn't.
