Shamrock Brooch, Pressed Clover Under Glass

A vintage brooch set with a real pressed shamrock under a glass dome, not a printed or enamelled one. Preserving an actual plant under glass this way was a sentimental jewelry tradition, shamrock brooches especially, often worn as a small piece of luck or a keepsake of home, a real leaf someone once picked and kept. Good condition. One brooch, one new owner, then closed.
