Antique Stereoview, Hotel de Ville Paris
A stereoview card of the Hotel de Ville, the French city hall in Paris, mounted on cardboard, 19th century. Two nearly identical photographs side by side, taken from slightly different angles and designed to be viewed through a stereoscope for a three-dimensional effect, the 19th century's answer to virtual travel for anyone who could not make the trip to Paris themselves. Good condition for its age. One piece, one new owner, then closed.
